Which means, your silly little advertisements will not even see my blog page..

Well, I`m thinking about giving my site another “facelift” I`m going to be working on a new colour scheme, which should be alot easier on the eyes, and a bit more professional looking.  I plan to have this new layout up and running in a few days, and we will try to keep the site`s down time to  minimum.

Here is the finished product, with myCanon 40D and  sigma 50-500mm lens attached. It works very well, and it didn`t cost me $600.  I still have to get a quick release plate for it, which I will order this week. But other than that, it`s ready to get busy.

I recently became interested in getting a gimbal tripod head, for bird/wildlife photography. Untill I saw how much they cost. The average price hovers around $500. Ouch! I decided ( being a welder/machinist) to build one. For about $30 worth of aluminum, and a Day`s worth of my time….  I was able to create a very functional and very stable gimbal head.  Below, is a photo of  it, which was taken only an hour after I finished  building it.

 It`s not completely finished yet. I have to get the knob screws for it, have it anodized, and install the quick release.  I can`t wait to get it finished so I can test it, and I will post the test results as soon as I can.

Hey everyone! I have just installed a new page on my site, called Recent Work. This new page is where I will be adding newly posted photos. I am hoping that this will make it much easier for visitors to locate, and view my recent activity. New photos will be displayed here, for about 30 days….. before being relocated to their respective galleries within my site. Thank you for taking time to visit. I hope you enjoy my work.
